How Famio researches and checks its content

Last updated 26 August 2026

Who writes our content

Famio’s guides and comparisons are written and reviewed by the product team that builds and tests Famio. We use the byline “Famio product team” because the work is collaborative and we do not present a single person as an independent reviewer.

How comparisons are researched

We check competitor features and prices against first-party product, pricing, help and terms pages. Each comparison links to the exact sources used and displays the date those facts were checked. We remove claims that cannot be supported by a current public source.

A missing feature is recorded only when it is absent from the competitor’s current public feature documentation. Because products change, readers should confirm a purchase decision on the competitor’s own checkout or app-store page.

How Famio claims are checked

Famio capability claims are checked against the shipped product and its implementation. Planned features are not presented as available, and the prices shown on this site are the prices we currently charge.

Our commercial interest

Famio is a product, so we have a commercial interest in these comparisons. They are not independent reviews. We state where a competitor is the better fit, keep competitor wins in the tables, and do not accept payment from competitors for placement or ranking.

Updates and corrections

Comparisons are reviewed when a source changes and at least quarterly. If you find an outdated price or feature, email contact@famio.cc with the page and first-party source. We will verify the correction and update the visible date.
