Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading or using Famio you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of service

Famio is a family organiser application providing shared calendars, lists, chore tracking, and budget features. Some features require a paid Premium subscription.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Kid profiles must be created by an adult account holder.

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Premium subscriptions are billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • We do not process or store payment card information directly.
  • Refund requests are subject to App Store or Google Play policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Famio for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other households' data
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the application
  • Transmit harmful or offensive content through the service

6. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property in Famio remain our property or that of our licensors. You retain ownership of content you create within the app.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Famio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Famio after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
